About Frank Richards
DJ Frank Richards, a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, has been spinning and promoting house music events in Las Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles dating back to 1992; and has been a major force for what Vegas Nightlife has become today. Inspired by the love of house music by DJ’s such as Doc Martin, Garth, Jeno, Satoshi Tomiie, Kenny Hawkes, Nick Warren, Dave Seamen and Danny Howells. Richards is a local favorite and is considered one of the most successful and influential House DJ’s working on the Las Vegas Strip today. Over the past 18 years, Richards has held residencies and music director positions at the infamous Club Utopia, Red Dragon at China Grill, Rehab at the Hard Rock Pool, ICE Meta Club and for the past 5 years at one of the world’s most elite nightclubs, “PURE” at Caesar’s Palace. Including appearances at special events as , Space Ibiza on Tour, Doc Martin’s “Unlock The House and Wax Records”, Soundbar, Angel Music Group, Naked LA, Afterhour-Power, Giant, The Love Festival, Go Ventures and Saturday Night Sessions,Paul Oakenfolds “Perfecto”, just to name a few...
Richards and also a producer, is the creative force behind HiSoL Recordings, a small independent label he runs along side with his partner, DJ Sotero. Over the last decade, HiSoL has had several releases as “What U Need” feat Ion, Spirit of the Council, The Heart, The Vibe and Muddy Waters, under the alias “Sol Brothers” which is Frank Richards and Sotero, UNTIL THE SUN REFUSES TO SHINE. Doc Martin, DJ Sneak, Yeno and many more DJ’s have supported HiSol Recordings.
Richards has attracted both old and new club-goers alike with his eclectic mix of minimal, tech-house and progressive tracks, keeping his audiences bouncing well into the early morning on the Las Vegas strip. But Richards isn’t limited to Vegas clubs—over the span of his DJ career, he’s been invited to spin in cities such as Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ko Samui, Jakarta, Manila, Cebu, Honolulu, London, Miami, New York, Chicago, San Diego, Seattle, LA, San Francisco, and many more. In May of 2008, Frank was invited to play at the final party at Ko Kimura's infamous Final Party of "KOOL" at “SPACE LAB YELLOW” along side Ko, which is Frank’s most honored booking to date. Richards has spent the last two years between the USA and Asia, promoting his previous CD, “Q Bar Bangkok", “a deep and seductive mix which perfectly rides that fine line between home listening and dance floor energy” (Denis Hemakom, Q Bar Bangkok).
In June of 2009 Frank will be going back on tour to promote his new album that will be released on his label “HiSoL Recordings” along with his highly anticipated 2X CD, TOKYO, in tribute to SPACE LAB YELLOW, which he co-created with Japan’s own, KO KIMURA. Expect the most cutting-edge sounds from around the globe mixed by Ko Kimura and Frank Richards!

So I am been marinating on a album I did last year contemplating on how i should release the album truthfully I was going to press the album up but I decide to give this album as a free download. The Album Bitter Love Next Time is made up entirely of break up songs. I always want to make a theme album and I felt this was the best way to display my production. I hope you enjoy this album as it is perhaps my most personal album. I took the time to flip every track about 5-6 times. Its wintertime and if your lonely than this is your album for your bitter cold hearts, haha!

Check it out! I wrote a free book on music production! It's for total beginners, but maybe you'll learn something... at least you can send it to your friends who always want to ask you a billion questions about music production! It's totally free too; my goal with this is to accumulate as many BFF's as possible :P
