Hi Fran, Thank you for allowing us onto your page.
You probably get this all the time, but do you ever remember The Desperadoes playing a gig in a tiny pub in Bannockburn called The Tamdhu? Well, I played drums in one of the bands that supported you that night. We were so amateurish we had to borrow Margarita's hi-hat!! I thought it was cool that you ignored the entire audience's shouts for 'Presence Dear' and launched into 'Union City Blues' as a kind of two fingered salute. I also remember it was a total blizzard outside when you lot finished and I always wondered how you got home that night. Anyways, I still cherish the Desperadoes records and it's brilliant to see you're still making beautiful music.
Hi Fran! Got a few gigs coming up. Would be great if you guys and some friends could make any of them. Check my page for details. All acoustic shows. Doing my own music as I think I've been neglecting it for long enough. Hope to see Sandy and Yourself soon. All the best. Jay.x
hi fran! how's it all going? are we treading the gilded boards soon or what? could you let me know the ed. date. hope you are well and to hook up soon. si x
Hi Fran thanks for being our friend !!!! If only there had been MySpace back in the old days ... what fun we could have had... what networking !! Shame eh ??!!!! Rock on .......
We loved the Desps so much! Had a great time chatting to you after a gig at the Kool Kat in Nottingham in 1990 or thereabouts. Might even have been one of the band's last ever gigs?
Hiya Fran, what's-a-happenin? You are becoming more virtual by the day and you only live four doors down. One never had this in the days of typewriters. Hope you well. K
Thanks for adding me. Happy memories of Jesse Garon gigs came flooding back recently and I was really delighted to hear your new stuff, which is great.
