I have been DJing on and off for a while now on Second Life. Sharing my love of electronic music with others is one of the most fun things ever for me.

| Background: | I have been interested in electronic music since the late 80s. I missed the early phase of the techno/rave movement though, as I was mostly into bands like Front 242, Skinny Puppy, Die Krupps, ... Me becoming hooked on techno roughly coincided with the opening of the legendary Ultraschall club in Munich in 1994. I soon became forever addicted to the sound of the Roland TB-303. The 303 is the Fender Strat of electronic music!

I think crowds on SL are picky and forgiving at the same time. What I mean by this is that there is a lot of room for experiments (ie you can play stuff that probably wouldn't work at a real club) but that they will always be met with a very discerning audience.
