Basically any music that has a solid chemistry and groove with the players. Oddly, it all somehow melds together quite nicely...
FRAYD is a local CT band that plays a variety of modern rock, alternative, metal, and retro music. We've all played together in various projects over the past fifteen years but, this is the first time all four of us have played in the same musical project.
We have on occasion been told that our setlist selection is very mixed and borderline schitzophrenic... which is cool because it allows us to feel out the crowd on a given night and adjust the songs we play. We also have fun taking an older hit and twisting and shaping it to make it our own. Hopefully our take on some of the tunes we play relays the fact that we are out for the fun of the music and not blinded by rockstar dreams... well, some of us anyway...
FRAYD represents the evil-Spock tendencies that all of us have to tear loose of the 9-to-5 grind and get out and have a great time doing something - ANYTHING - other than sitting in prairiedog cube hell.
Here's what I need you to do! Before I set off on my tour, I'm having a big party!
