Frayser Boy (born Cedric Coleman) is an Academy Award-winning rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. He is signed to Hypnotize Minds, the label run by Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy J. He also started his own private Label entitled "B.A.R. Muzik". He has released 3 albums under the Hypnotize label: Gone on That Bay (2003), Me Being Me (2005), and Da Key (2008).
At the 78th Annual Academy Awards, he, alongside Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy J was awarded an Academy Award for the "Best Original Song" with "It's Hard out Here for a Pimp". The song, co-written by Coleman for Hustle and Flow, was performed live at the ceremony just before it won.
With his B.A.R. Muzik Label Frayser Boy has released a mix-tape series titled "Streets Need Me" which is set to release it's 3rd album of the series in 2008.
