My name is 'J'm Black. I am a guitarist from Vancouver, in Brighton since 2001. I'm into live looping and improvising in various contexts. I play in many projects with numerous wonderful players, singers, beatboxers and DJ's (many of whom are listed here as MySpace friends). Speaking of which, you can hear my guitar playing & sampling on Beardyman's myspace page (on his songs, "Improvised Set" and "Live At More The Re..."), on Lyrikool Lipz page (on "Live Improvised"), on Safehouse Brighton's page ("Improvised Piece 3"), and on Sa Mon Di's page. JFB is also a regular collaborator, in Abstractivity and the occasional BattleJam.
I'm now in the "Edinburgh's Got Talent" top 40 yipee!
To help me get into the top 20, I'll need your help. Please vote for me NOW by texting the word ENTALENT followed by a space then key 023 followed by another space then your postcode to 81800.
It would be a massive boost if you vote a couple of times and pass on details to your friends and family.
Oh, and yes of course I will treat you all to champaign and lobster when I hit the bigtime! (That's a promise)

Hey J'm, Your versatility is very impressive. You leave nothing unexplored. I especially like the dub grooves. Would love to meet up again somewhere in the world.
