WARNING...Freakin' Sweet is not for the faint of heart. We rock, and we mean it.
FREAKIN' SWEET was formed in 2007 from the The Velvetkings and She's With Me. Those bands were ditched because they were too soft. We don't play the Archies anymore.
The band performs in Louisville and Southern Indiana, most recently at the Longshot Tavern and the Smyrna Inn.
If you like Greenday, Weezer, the Clash and Led Zepplin, chances are you will enjoy the show. Indeed, if you see Freakin' Sweet, you'll hear edgy renditions of some of your favorite rock/punk/alt songs of the 80s, 90s and 00s. You might even get treated to some accoustic stuff.
Also - FREAKIN' SWEET continues to audition the young female dancers that frequently join them on stage..."The Freakettes" - plaid mini skirts, glitter and visible tattoos required.
