I'm a casual observer. Just a dude with a camera trying to make sense of Los Angeles. I'm from Long Island, New York primarily but I was born in Kansas City, Mo and I've lived for extended periods in upstate New York, London, and New Jersey (the armpit of the world). I like to think the midwestern influence makes me less of a prick than most New Yorkers but I guess that's not really for me to say.
I shoot and cut video for fun and profit. I did the film school thing, then the News Industry thing, now I'm doing the TV show thing. Sometimes I envy my friends that have steady jobs with clear career tracks but then again, fuck it, my road may be long and uncertain but at least it's an adventure and I've met a lot of awesome people along the way. Looking back, there are very few things I would have done differently.
In the end, all we are is the effect we've had on the people around us.
