Freaks’Bloody Tricks e un colletivo performativo formato da Kola Alessandro a Roma nel 2003.Da subito incentra il proprio lavoro nell’ambito della body art, utilizzando un’ iconografia estrema basata sul dolore, sul sangue, sulla violenzae sul martirio, cercando di colpire i simboli inconsci dell’immaginario comune legati al dolore al sesso e alla morte. Sospensioni corpore, ganci che attraversano la carne dove i corpi vengono liberati dalla gravita’in un tentativo continuo di superare una fisicita’ ormai resa sterile. Freaks’Bloody Tricks si affermano velocemente all’interno della scena romana e poi quella italiana, presentando in pochi anni molte performance e spettacoli teatrali, partecipano a diverse tattoo convention italiane e europee .Nel 2006 i Freaks’Bloody Tricks fanno una tournee in Germania in squat, gallerie e club di Rostock e Berlino.
Nel 2006 Kola e Kiki, due membri del collettivo partono insieme al gruppo KernelPanik per il sud America. Kiki e Kola in Argentina e Brasile collaborano con artisti locali esibendosi in club e feste..Contemporaneamente gli altri membri dei Freaks’Bloody Tricks organizzano performance a Roma e Perugia. Al loro rientro dal sud America per festeggiare la riunione del gruppo e l’ingresso di nuovi elementi viene organizzata una performance incentrata sulla multimedialita’, Aeon, con la collaborazione di elementi esterni , musica dal vivo di Ius primae noctis e Chiara Horn che ne progetta l’imponente parte visiva.

FREAKS'BLOODY TRICKS is a performance and body modification collective formed from Kola Alesssandro in Rome in 2003.From the very beginning they focused their work on the body art scene using an extreme iconography about pain, suffer, the violence of martyr and blood, searching to strike the unconscious symbols of the common imaginary related to pain, sex and death. The group was inspired by body artists like Gina Pane, Frannko B. Ron Athey and Chris Burden but they put together this “classic” elements with the new body modification tecniques and dynamics. Body suspensios, hooks through the flesh, body release d from gravity in a state that goes beyond the sterile physicality. Freaks'bloody tricks quickly get affirmed in Rome and in the Italian underground art scene. In the nexts years Freaks’ Bloody Tricks did lots of performances and shows in Europe they also took part in many tattoo conventions. In 2006 they did a tour in Germany the “BLOODY DEUTSCHLAND TOUR” where they performed in galleries , squats and clubs in Berlin & Rostock. Antonella Pintus in collaboration with “Espera Produzioni” made a documentary about the collective called “INSOSPESO” ( www.insospeso.org) The documentary was presented in many independent film festival around the world, Berlin Rome, Miami and New York.. In 2006 Kola the founder member of the group and Kiki went to South America, together with Kernel Panik crew. In Argentina and Brasil they team up with a lots of local artist showing with them in very different place. In the same time the others members of Freaks' went on performing in Italy, they did shows in Rome and Perugia. When Kola and Kiki come back to Europe in January 2007 the collective . made an awesome multimedia show in Rome called “AEON” to celebrate the reunion after the long trip and the admission of news elements.
At thr moment Freaks' Bloody Tricks collaborate with Chiara Horn, who takes care of thr visual aspect of the show, and Ius Primae Noctis who perform live a devasting sound work. Freaks' last performance at Forte Prenestino on the 22th of june 2007 was a perfect exaple of this collaboration, blood, torture, needles, roses,wheelchair and bodysuspensions, tecno-grind core miusic with infernal screaming voices and a massive visual works.
Kiki also start a new parallel project called La Macchina da Cucire
