What happens if you take a passionate blues guitarist from Germany and a spirited French singer and lock them up over months in a basement? Well, spending hours and hours during the cold winter in an uncomfortable smallish room just gave us even more blues. It seems that the frosty temperature just opened our mind and breathing fresh air inspired us to many new blues songs. We just want to go back to the Essential of the Blues and to go deep into the blues... „Fred & Val", our acoustic blues duo, provides plenty of own songs and some classic blues arranged in a new way, e.g. „Mojo Working" or „It's all over now". We're using acoustic and slide guitar, and from time to time the electric one. It's just depending on the moods. We love the blues, enjoy playing and singing it, with all its colors.
