Just me at the moment though i am looking for a drummer to develop some sort of live thing. Most drumming you can hear is edited from recordings of my friend Bence Bolygo.
Influences
Everything really from all genres but have an enourmous enthusiasm for the following; John McLaughlin, the rest of the Mahavishnu orchestra; Electronicy things like Fourtet, Carribou, Max Tundra, Squarepusher; Mr Scruff; Ben Harper; Bob Marley; Van Morrisson; Steely Dan; Sun Ra; Gato Barbieri; Gill Evans; Ehykah Badu; Battles; DJ Shadow; Pat Metheny; Led Zep; Shakti; system of a down; mars volta; Reich and Glass; Floyd; Captain beefheart + Zappa; most jazz stuffs particularly Miles Davis and Weather Report. I also enjoy African music like Chieke Lo, Fela Kuti, Salif Keita and Tinariwen.
Currently working on composition and production after degree at Salford university in Music Acoustics and Recording. I am unfortunately unable to do this full time but thats the aim. I am trying to learn the Kora (African Harp) and have recently started to make recordings of Manchester's finest busker, Jali (Rough recording below).
