About me:
I am a soon-to-be divorced, aspiring writer. I have a short story titled, Anya, that was recently published in an anthology through Wild Child Publishing. The anthology is called Weirdly: A Collection of Strange Tales & is available as a print or e-book through www.wildchildpublishing.com. More projects are in the works and I recently joined a critique group. Hopefully with the help of this group, I'll get my butt in gear and get more stories finished.
I currently live with my older sister & my 6 year old German Shepherd. My company closed in June of 2007 & I've been job-hunting since. I finally have a few real possibilities so I hope you'll keep your fingers crossed for me :o)
Though I fell on some tough times over the last 12 months, they've somehow managed to be some of the best times of my life as well. I lost my job but got my first piece of writing published soon after which was so exciting for me. I lost my husband but met a wonderful man soon after who treats me the way I deserve to be treated & makes me feel like a princess. I was one of the many foreclosure victims but I've discovered that my family & friends are there for me when I really need them & I have some of the best friends a girl could ask for.
