Né à Saint-Rémy en 1987 (France). Attiré dès son plus jeune âge par la musique, il débute le piano à cinq ans. C´est à l´âge de dix ans qu'il intègre le Conservatoire National de Chalon sur Saône, tout d’abord pour ses études classiques, puis trois ans plus tard, pour rejoindre la classe de Jazz où il étudie notamment la composition ainsi que l’arrangement avec Sylvain Beuf. Il obtient à dix neuf ans son D.E.M (Diplôme d'Études Musicales spécialisation jazz) puis intègre, l’année suivante, le département Jazz et Musiques improvisées du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris (CNSMDP) où il obtiendra en 2011 son master.
Il se produit en trio aux côtés de Léon Parker et Mattéo Bortone (Inception Trio), ainsi que dans de nombreuses formations telles que le Youngblood Quintet, le Jon Boutellier / Fred Nardin Quartet, le Bastien Ballaz Septet.
Il fonde en 2010 avec ses deux amis Jon Boutellier et Bastien Ballaz, le fameux Keystone Big Band.
Il s’est également illustré aux cotés de Mark Gross, Michel Hausser, Rhoda Scott, Richy Ford, Cécile Mc Lorin Salvant, Liz Mc Comb, François Théberge, Phil Abraham, Pierre Olivier Govin, Claude Egéa, Captain Mercier, Thomas et David Enhco, Nicolas Charlier...
Il enseigne actuellement le piano jazz au CNR de Chalon sur Saône.


Born in 1987, Fred started very early with the family orchestra.
He attended the conservatory of Chalon-sur-Saône at the age of 10,
starting both jazz and classical music, where he graduated at 19.
As an active musician in his burgundy region, he moved to Paris in 2007 to enter the great Conservatoire de Paris. There, he improved his compositions and technical skills with Hervé Sellin.
Now, at only 24, he teaches jazz at the Chalon-sur-Saone conservatory, sharing his experiences with a high level group of students. His favorite pianists include Kenny Barron, Tommy Flanagan and Kenny Kirkland.
