I think I've become boring. Not sure when it happened. I think my kids did it to me. I consider myself very intelligent, funny, attentive and passionate. My kids think i'm a lost cause. When I was younger I was a very good athlete. Nowadays, my best moves do not involve competetive sport. I'm told that I am attractive (not by my kids) but I don't really think so. Not enough "bad boy" in me I suppose. I'm the nice guy whose shoulder you cried on when you're boyfriend took off on his harley with that slut vicki....
I'm not big on being suprised, but I love to be the one suprising. Love to me is running to the convenience store late at night in the pouring rain to get her ice cream, love is not really caring how bad the traffic is because you know she'll be waiting for you when you finally make it home. Love is blowing off golf with your buddies because she wants you to lay in bed with her and watch Terms of Endearment. Love is giving and not worrying about getting.
I guess I'm a romantic, but I am still a guy and by definition, a jerk. But I apologize very well. I've had my share of magical movie moments and they're wonderful but in the end, what is important to me is finding someone who is my best friend...and really good in the sack. That was the romantic/jerk characteristic coming out.
I am a single daddy, and a very good one. I'm only a mediocre mommy but I love my boys more than life itself. I'm not looking to find them a mommy, they have one, but it would be nice to have fun with someone that doesn't involve nerf darts or go fish(they kick my butt at both). I make a mean omelette and I can cook every TV dinner known to mankind no matter which compartments you have to remove the plastic from. I'll watch almost any movie on Lifetime with my lady (even ones about Amy Fisher) as long as she doesn't mind that I have the ball game on in the background while I piddle around the house. I'll listen to every word she has to say when she needs or even just wants to talk, as long as she's not bothered that sometimes I'm quiet for awhile for absolutely no reason at all except I need to be.

Hi Steve! I haven't talked with you in forever! How are you? And the kids? Work? Looks a little slim in your blog area . . . writer's block? Me too, until recently. My poor camera nearly seized up with dust for a few months here, but I'm back at it. Work has been crazy-crazy-busy, but it's all good. I just have trouble with balance . . . or lack thereof!
