Jones has mastered his listening and knowledge of Hip-Hop & R&B music. With uncanny attention to detail, he can recall most musical credits and toss random musical trivia off of most albums from soul/funk/hip-hop artists from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and current; he is proud to be knowledgeable of his musical history as opposed to most of his peers.
He plays the drums and piano by ear. His production style is single-handedly geared mostly for R&B and Hip-Hop music, however he is working on more projects in the Pop and Dance genre. With a trained ear and good judgement, Jones' versatility and agility to replicate ANY production style heard off the radio are his keys to drive his esoteric production foward.
"I can pretty much produce tracks for virtually any lyricist's or singer's targeted sound. I've formulated it now where people will hear [my tracks] and know it's me", he explains as he positions himself studiously leaning foward at the screen of his laptop computer, on his living room table, leveling out his lastest tracks out of his catalogue. He mentions, "Design is important to me--sound and sight. I even designed my own logo"
