Watching over my friends back on earth.
A MESSAGE TO THE KISSENA CREW
I know that I have never met most of you. In fact, there are very few of you that I ever met. I remember Nicky from when I was very young and we lived in Virginia and would come up to visit him in Jersey. Dad always said, “Jersey! That’s were New Yorkers dump their garbage!” Aside from that, I know you have always known of me and I feel hopeful, that aside from my father’s passing, I will some day get to meet and know each and every one of you.
What is it that I can say about my father that all of you don’t already know? He was an amazing man.
Actually, amazing is not a word that can do him justice. He was a fighter, a father, a devoted husband and a loyal friend. He was a patriot, a veteran, and very proudly, a Republican.
My father loved our country almost more than he loved any of us. It is astonishing to me that a man who could act so cold, so strong, so carefree and hard, could, in fact, be so soft and loving. My father cared more deeply for my “uncle” closer to me than most I have known throughout my short life, said to me the other night, “Your father may not have told people to their face how much he cared for them, but he told everyone else.”
My father was a storyteller. He was proud of his life and his accomplishments and the effect that he had on everyone who was fortunate enough to have met him. He was a tough-guy and an extreme patriot to New York. But under that tough exterior, he was the kindest, most caring, devoted and protective man I will ever know. I am greatful that all of you shared a part of him and today; I realize that I too am a part of him. I am a part of him that will still remain here to carry on his legacy. I know that he is alive inside of me, not only in my blood, but also in my heart.
I want all of you to know that you are all in my heart as well. As I already said, I may have never met most of you, but from the stories my father told so proudly throughout my child hood. The stories of Flushing, of Kissena Park, of “the Crew”… I will keep those alive in my memory as long as I am living… along with my memories of my father, my best friend and my idol.
Best wishes to all of you. Thank you for fulfilling my father’s life and helping to make him into the man that he was and the man that we will all cherish forever.

Apparently, all of the books that seem to be missing from the public school system, ended up here. So I get to read them all. The only book that is still in use in American schools appears to be a useful phrase book, with the most used phrase being "Ya all want fries with that?"

Still Ronald Reagan. He says to tell Nancy he misses her.

Over 30 years ago I started working in the investigative field as the security chief for Eastern Airlines at Kennedy Airport. I later moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where I went to work for Immendorf Investigations in San Francisco.
It was there that I met my life long partner in the detective business, Dan "Danno" Hanks. We immediately hit it off and soon made plans to leave and begin our own agency. I became PI number 7121 in the state of California.
Over the quarter century, Danno & I worked every conceivable type of case, worker's compensation fraud, drug cases (contracting to the DEA), organized crime (contracting to the FBI), entertainment industry security and executive protection.
Our exploits in thousands of cases are the subject of an upcoming book and television series now in developement at Sony Pictures, with Eric Tannenbaum of "Two and a Half Men" fame producing.
I died of a massive heart attack on April 12th, 2005, wearing a priest outfit, while working under-cover, and hopefully leaving the world a better place then when I entered it.

When the late Queens mob boss Frankie "The Dap" Dapolito was throwing his little girl, Linda's "Sweet Sixteen" party, he asked a young Freddy Valis to have his band, "The Keynotes" play at the party. After the party, he handed Fred an envelope containing $1,000.00. Fred handed the money back, telling Frankie that he couldn't charge him for performing at his little girls party. And, anyway, he might need a "favor" someday. That "favor" was paid when Fred & Danno were under-cover inside of "The Mob". Frankie stuck his neck out and vouched for him, saving both of our lives.
Years later, Fred got all of the old "Kissena Park" gang together for a reunion dinner. When the check came for the dinner, Fred found out that Linda Dapolito (Now Linda Major) had picked up the tab.
Enjoy this clip from that party so very long ago.

Kimle tanışmak isterim: I have already met Ronald Reagan up here in heaven, but I can't seem to find that son of a bitch, Saddam Hussein anywhere up here. On friday nights, Ron, John Wayne, General George Patton & I get togeather for a game of poker and talk about the good old days back on earth. That Reagan knows the best Hillary Clinton jokes.
