Free at Last are a groove-metal band from Saint-Petersburg formed in 2008. The members of the band had a desire to play something distinct from their last projects. They were heavily influenced by Pantera, Lamb of God, Hellyeah and Machine Head. So now the band’s musical style is groove-metal..... The rest of 2008 was devoted to writing the material and to solving some organization problems. In 2009 the band started to play, Andrey on vocals, Evgeniy on guitar, Dmitry on guitar and Andrian on drums..... Free at Last began to record their first studio EP entitled “FAL” in March. Soon Ivan the bass guitarist joined the band, who played previously in Kangaz Korva, Architype and Abnormal. .... EP was released on 30 August 2009. The band started to prepare for the future concerts. .... Unfortunately the band took Dmitri’s leave on September, because of some disagreements and different preferences. Now Free at Last is officially a quartet..... Now days Free at Last give their performances and appear on different stages. .... Line up:.... Andrey (vocals).. Evgeniy (guitar).. Ivan (bass)..
