Free Buddhist Audio is part of an international network of Buddhists trying to figure out how to bring the teachings of the Buddha to life in our lovely, messy, sometimes violently unpredictable world (FWBO). It's a young spiritual movement still, so we like to think of the talks we hold in our archive as historical documents charting just one aspect of the early days of Buddhism in the West.
The archive has a great deal of general and detailed information on all aspects of the historical Buddhist path. We have over 500 audio talks and seventeen million words for you to explore! You'll also find recordings and texts on art and meditation, as well as led Buddhist meditative and ritual practices to help you in your own quest for truth and meaning.
As part of our free service, we host talks in several languages, and we hope to add talks from other Buddhist traditions engaged with the same kind of spiritual adventure. We welcome any feedback on our blog and website — and we ask everyone commenting to respect the basic non-violent nature of Buddhism in what they say (to us or anyone else!).
We hope you'll enjoy browsing our archive online and support us in our efforts to keep it a free resource for all.
Thanks for visiting!
