About me: Hmm...so much has changed it seems a little bit crazy. But I always hope it's less of me & more of Him. His love is consuming me from the inside out. I was afraid to look in His face...even seek Him...afraid because of who I am and what I've done...but He's teaching me His unfailing love never had or ever will have anything to do with me or anyone else...&I long to show others the same love He shows me.
I am so weak. Broken. Barren. Yearning. Undeserving. & reminded of these truths daily...which is why His love in & working through me is so cherished...so amazing. B/c I don't deserve it. <3
I love redemption. Just how God takes our broken lives, yearning hearts & rescues us! We don't have to pretend to be strong! B/c when we are weak, He can rescue us.
I love listening to others. It's my heart to understand others' perspectives. It's fascinating to me all the different people of the world with so many ways of life... probably because I was so set in MY ways...thinking it was the only truth...so now I long to open my eyes to see the world...how where we grow up affects who we are & seek God for the only truth. =) It's so freeing to love & accept others. I think love in its purest form is undeserved.
I long to serve the broken, lost...the humble. NOLA <3 In reality, we are all so weak...but when we go through hard times we realize how fragile we are & life is. =) & have the opportunity to realize how big our God is!!
Hmmm...I go to Kennesaw. Studying to be an ESOL teacher...but as long as I am among the weak, I will be happy serving wherever I am. I am a soul searcher. I question many things in my heart. I work at Smoothie King & love my managers with all my heart. <3 God has used them in so many ways. I am beginning to love reading, history, & just learning...haha so I am a dork.
I could live in the gym I think. It just feels so good to leave totally drenched in sweat and wasted of energy. It makes me test my mental and physical strength - making me a harder worker. =) I love Knuckle Up.
I am a dork. I'm clumsy. I snort. I'm slow. I study. I do well in school. I try to follow rules. I don't go out a lot. But I am me...& I am learning that that's okay. =) Because He claims me as His own. & that means more to me than the acceptance of any king.
Who I'd like to meet: Mmm...I love the meek. The weak, the broken, the misunderstood...I long to meet them, listen to their story, love them & show em I believe in them...just try to love broken people just like Christ loves me. It's amazing being able to help people beyond what they can do for themselves.
I often think about meeting Jesus. <3 I really wonder what I'll do.

LAUREN! How are ya?! lol I was looking through my friends getting ride of some of them and I was like who is this? and when I clicked on it I was like WHAT! ITS LAUREN! lol. Ethan and I were watching the footage we shot at Atl and charity and u poped up and we started talking about when you came and ate with us at dinner and all ethan talked about was how you paid for him.lol. Anyways how is everything? hope its going good. Hey if you want to hear some of our messages that we have spoken at Wide open...aka...city church. We have a podcast.
