....Mission Statement:.... ....Our cause is our name! Freedom is what we hold most close to our hearts but we’re not only referring to political Freedom. We’re also referring to Freedom of expression, of consciousness, of love and of spirit. Like wise, when we say INFINITE we’re expressing a feeling, an idea of having limitless rhymes, rhythms, styles, words and concepts. And yet, when you come to see a FreedomINFINITE performance, you will NOT be overwhelmed by ambiguity! Energizing audiences with our signature loud and in-ya-face emcee type delivery, we always bring the ruckus regardless of whether we’re performing in front of three hundred or three-thousand. But don’t be fooled; as talented writers and performers we can also be soft, vulnerable, kind, playful and even amusing. Our mission is to convey the Truth, even when that Truth reflects a less than desirable portrait of ourselves. The influences of Hip-Hop, Jazz, R&B and Soul are firmly entrenched in any piece of art that we put our pens to. Yet, how we do and what we do changes like the tides and so we float with the moon, practicing one-legged crane kicks and dodging rogue space ships and move onto whatever project entices us next. We’re grinding to give the people something they can feel. Taking the ever growing empty expressions out of poetry..... ....Our Goal:.... ....To help bring poetry, spoken word and Hip-Hop back to those that can truly use it for the purposes the oral traditions originally intended. Which are to uplift, empower, educate and transcend time and space. We’re about poetry with a purpose. Using our gifts to inspire action as Hip-Hop did in the 80’s and early 90’s. We want to be a force that helps to restore the quickly eroding pride and prosperity of disadvantaged people and communities; especially African-American communities, across the globe. But it’s not enough just to perform. Those with the strengths and resources need to be involved whenever and wherever possible because we’re all in jeopardy if we continue to allow different tentacles of corporate America to produce and promote media that determines how we think, act, view each other and view ourselves. The time has come for all of us to reclaim our cultures and identities. But none of us can do it alone..... ....If we all support each other we can all come up!.... .. .. .. .. .. .............. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .......... .......... ..........
