freekilos originally formed in the year 2000 by Mark Bucknall (drums) & Chris Woods (guitar), who then played bass.
Over the following years, freekilos went through several line-up changes ... including Chris switching from bass to guitar in 2006.
This led to 'G' joining the group to take over on bass, then as a three piece continued to experiment with new sounds and song structures.
James joined the band in late 2007 on vocals to complete the line-up as it is today.
At the start of July 2008, after months of practise, freekilos moved into F.F.G studios for 4 days to record a self financed, self titled 5 track e.p.
Later that month they began to play live.
In August 2008 the band filmed a video for the track 'The Power Of Artificial Thought'
At present the band are hard at work practising, writing new material and playing as many gigs as they can get.
