About Free Peoples

Free Peoples is a Americana/Rock/Jazz hybrid direct from the San Francisco Bay Area. Their music conjures up images of the wild west, but will take you on a journey to Mars and back before depositing you safely back by your campfire. Through intricate melodies and delicate three part harmonies, they offer up a synthesis of both the old and the new, incorporating styles as diverse as the many paths we all travel. Clara Bellino	Dec 8 2009 4:36 PM I'm so sad to hear the news. Had the pleasure of playing with Johnny when he recorded a 12 string guitar on my last cd on one song, and he sang back ups with me. He was so unassuming, and so nice to work with. He didn't make a big deal of what he was doing, and I soon realized I didn't have to worry about what he was doing, he did exactly what was needed. In the short rehearsal and sessions we had I'd decided he just was that genuine, a treat to work with. Definitely one of the good ones just got taken. My thoughts and heart go out to his family and those who were lucky to have him close.

The Rovetti Experience will be playing rock, swing, blues and a tad bit of bluegrass.
