Freedom is not difficult work. It would be much easier to allow ourselves to be enslaved by the opinions of others, by desires for comfort and familiarity, or by a quest for empty sensations. Yet freedom is well worth the effort. It makes a whole world of wonderful things possible.
True freedom demands that you think for yourself and live with an authentic, meaningful purpose that is uniquely "you". These things require effort, commitment, creativity and persistence.
If freedom is to endure in our lives, it must be supported by our own responsibility. Without responsibility, freedom quickly decays into meaningless anarchy.
Freedom can be intimidating, because it constantly asks us to make decisions. Yet that is also what makes freedom so liberating, because it gives us the power to choose.
We each have within us the desire, the ability and the strength to live with freedom. Choose freedom, nourish and support it, and that freedom will bring real richness to your world.
YOU'RE GONNA BE AN AUNTIEEEE! I was so excited to tell you the other day!!! I've got a long road ahead but February will be a great month. :) Give Uncle Jeremy hugs and kisses. Love you!
