About me: REGINALD WAS EXECUTED BY THE STATE OF TEXAS TUESDAY 0CTOBER 27TH 2009. I WITNESSED THE EXECUTION, BY DOING THAT HAS CHANGED ME FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. REST IN PEACE MY KING, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
Reginalds case is one riddled with injustices. The Initial suspect could not be found. The only two witnesses were forced to sign statements against Reginald, under threats of being charged with the crime. These witnesses were Reginald’s brother, Robert, and Roberts’s then pregnant girlfriend. Prosecutors racially excluded African Americans from serving on his jury. The shoe print on the victims kicked in apartment door did not match the shoes Reginald wore the day of the crime. Reginald was wrongly convicted of murdering his friend and robbing him of jewellery that already belonged to Reginald! His appellant Attorney refused to represent his legal interest, ignored all of his letters pleading this attorney to file what amounted to innocence claims and because of this failure, all Reginald’s innocence claims were procedurally barred from ever being heard. And now his case sits in the Supreme Court.

You know my support is unquestionable for Reg and many others.. But folks need to stop praying and leaving everything up to the "Lord" to take care of. Ive seen so many of these, so many times hope has faded at the days end when we find out an execution isnt going to be stopped by the state nor by GOD. It seems to me the good Lord is failing us just as the system is. The thought of Reggie going to his death as people called upon GOD to undo such an evil act of humanity sickens me. I dont know the answers, I cant think of solutions, but its obvious and apparent the GOD most people believe in is leaving them more destitude with a blind eye in our most desperate times of need. Im not going to say GOD bless Reggie, weve seen what blessings he gave to him, but I will say GOD DAMN Governor Perry!! This crime of murder wont ever be punished, Reggie's conviction can never be undone, he died a guilty man in the eyes of those who govern our judicial system.. If there was any justice, or the kind of God most people are brainwashed into believing in, Reggie and so many others wouldnt be in this situation. And for those who say "It's Gods will" then I say to you.. What kind of God would have such an unjust and creul will to uphold racist killing and unfair treatment of mankind that he so created? Lets leave God out of it and start doing more than holding prayer vigils and calling out to something that does NOT exist.. that is as ridiculous as expecting the same system that kills these men to apologize for doing so.

Just hours before the scheduled execution I came to visit Reggie's page, to look at the pictures, videos and all of the hard work Sandie has put in this page. Sickened at the thought of what may happen soon my insides feel like they are about to burst. Thinking of how Reggie must feel, Sandi and Anna, I can't begin to imagine being present there, in Texas. I did the interview with Reg quite a while ago, and I for one am fully convinced he is innocent of all charges. This is not my first execution (knowing the people, inmate, having been in contact, etc, etc.,), but I must say it's one of the hardest. I hope and pray with all of my soul that something happens to stop this senseless execution. Please God, it's truly in your hands, we need him more than you do Love Dee
