About me:

denverfreeschool.org

Denver Free School is a group of dreamers and schemers dedicated to redefining what it is to learn and teach. It is about taking education out of the hands of oppresive organizations and back into the hands of those who are looking to broaden their experience and understanding of the world and its endless opportunities. So open up your mind and don't be limited in any way that you might contribute to this project, nothing is too crazy and there is no fixed definition on what a class might be. We are looking for anything from art, science, math, history, noise making, spiritual/personal growth, random skills, clowning around, or laughing classes! Really, the possibilities are endless! So if you have any ideas on how you would like to aid to this project don't be shy! Oh yeah, and it is free of monitary obligations! Free in so many ways! So weather you want to come to a class, teach a class, or offer space for classes to be held just get involved! We would love to have you join free school.

Also check out the Community Calendar with all the Free School Denver Classes on it!

(for easier viewing, change the setting to agenda view)

notes on the calendar: it is so fucking high tech you can even teach it to send text message reminders to a cell phone... 21st century!

If your event isn't listed, feel free to email the info to louisvuittonnight@gmail.com or freeschooldenver@riseup.net!

Hey, I wish you all the best and also
madaMK..,wisheS HappY cancerian horoscope AfteR LifE to MJ!
    I can't believe it..!
I wish to share my little tribute to Michael Jackson with you my friend,
    Photobucket
I respected his Artistic Genius but I loved his Unique Persona.
I think he was BRITISH in his SOUL and only tried to bring out what he felt trapped inside.
He never became who they wanted him to be and he died proud on his own while keeping his integrity.
He was a real PERSON. REAL is everything that feels RIGHT.
I believe he was hurt once again by someone who instigated his sensitive soul and MJ lost control by trying to calm himself down to avoid arming the instigator with a destructive instinctive reaction. He is a creator not a destroyer The instigator will have to leave now with the burden of the eternal guilt, that's if still owns a worth soul at all.
Instigators are Patented Criminals and always get away with murder and WORDS are THE real Weapon of Mass Destruction only not recognized as such.
It happens to me all the time and I know when I recognize the same but different. I was so happy to see him blossoming again and I couldn’t wait to see him shine from joy and pride but now we shall never see that EVER. MJ is a great lost and HUMANITY let me down once again.
I hope you don’t mind me sharing this with you my dear friend.

    1. Please, please do not come empty handed!!
    2. You can bring art, supplies, or both. You may be wondering what qualifies as art and the rule is....well, pretty much anything tangible. It's not limited to just paintings. You can bring homemade clothes and tees, zines, books, toys, instruments...anything. If you want to get really creative, you can make a book of IOUs or coupons for your services if you are, for example, anyone whose creativity can't materialize at the swap.
    3. Supplies don't stop at paintbrushes and paints. Bring your blank canvases, box of scrap metal, notebook, sketchbook, clay, yarn, hot glue gun, googly eyes, film...anything that can be made into something qualifies as a supply! As long as you can trade it...
    4. Donations welcome.

The Really Really Free Market Denver will take place Sunday, November 4 2007 at Civic Center Park 1-5pm. Bring clothes, furniture, food, services, games, music or anything you can think of. It's a community potluck based on the idea that scarcity is a myth and we all have something to offer to each other, even just our company or a good conversation.
We really are hoping for people to show up and set up skill share workshops of any kind, and I know that free skool is really busy with yer own gig but if any of your teachers are interested all they need to do is show up on the day. this is a pretty open ended invite.
let me know if you have any questions.
