and it goes just like this :
The Late James Brown, BeeGees, and Madonna made me dance for the 1st time.
Kurt Cobain made me picked up a guitar for the 1st time.
Eddie Vedder made me try to sing like him.
The rest of Seattle Sound band made me crunch my guitar sound.
Then it was Korn, Deftones, early Limp Bizkit helped me to made a solid band named ectoplasma, and it was quite locally succeed.
And honest, those guys also who kinda made 1st impression to good rap music.
Who doesnt start hiphop with Eminem, Nelly, DMX, Ludacris, and Dr.Dre in my generation?
or maybe i was just too influenced by MTV.
That's rite, i was crazy about MTV, the concept, the videos, the graphics,
then they made me did couple of projects back then with them.
The Neptunes made me start come to hiphop parties
DJ Etchnic and DJ Ndru made me want to be a DJ.
DJ Fuzz showed me how to cut record
Doyz the Noise made me a better graffiti writer
Groundzero showed me the potential of Indonesian Market
Sweet Martabak took me touring for the 1st time
DJ Cash Money made me endorsed with Rane Serato Scratch Live
DJ Shadow told me to start collect vinyls
DJ Shadow also showed me the wonderful world of triphop, like
Massive Attack, MoWax stuff, Portishead, UNKLE.
From there my guitar interest start to grew again since I was listening to Tommy Guerrero
Scratch the Movie opened my eyes about what the hell i was doing really.
RJD2 made me look for breaks
The Rhythm pushed my envyness to make a better label than anyone
DJ Premier and Gangstarr made my hiphop taste tougher (hehe, guess im late)
DJ Jerome, Random, Hogi, Cream, made me to look different styles while DJin.
Aamir Thompson made me start going back to Stevie Wonder, Prince, Smokey Robinson.
My Life savior Rick Rubin made me really want to be a producer,
he also made me buy DefJam book, Kevin Liles book, and start pickin up
earlier stuff like Hank Shocklee's, the Ummah, Slum Village, and Public Enemy.
The death of J-Dilla, made me to look on him even more.
Above them all, my Family, my label Freesouls, and my friends
influence me more than those guys above on how to act,speak,think even more as a better person, a better DJ Flame...
