FREE SPIRIT は、自然界の原点とその絶大な風景に誘い込むサウンドで、時間を超越したメロディック・ハードロックを聴かせるフィンランドのバンドです。彼らの楽曲は、その魅惑的なメロディーで様々な年齢層のリスナーに受け入れられています。厚みのあるコーラスとギターサウンドは FREE SPIRIT のブランドです。アルバム Pale Sister of Light は現実の世界、夢と幻想の世界に私たちを案内してくれます。これはバンドの最初のフルトラックアルバムで全11曲が収録されています。単独のシングルとしても積極的に演奏しながら、共にこれらの楽曲は自由への旅を作り上げていきます。Pale Sister of Light は Carpel Music によってプロデュースされ、2009年2月4日に Edel Records Finland よりリリースされました。他の国々でも続々と発売中です。FREE SPIRIT の 「Until The Night」 のビデオはガレージ・カウントダウン・コンテストで優勝しています。このビデオの閲覧はインターネット上で82,000回以上にものぼり、コンクールを主催した The Voice TV で今でも配信され続けています。FREE SPIRIT のメンバーは Sami Alho (vocals)、Vesa Yli-Mäenpää (guitar)、Pasi Koivumäki (drums)、Marko Haapamäki (guitar)、Sami Hämäläinen (bass) そして Timo Alho (keyboards) の6人です。Sami Alho と Pasi Koivumäki は結成当初からのオリジナルメンバーですが、同様の音楽に対する感性や志を持つうまが合うアーティストたちが出会った2006年、現在のラインナップとなりました。

Their music reaches out to listeners of all ages with its captivating melodies. Massive choruses and guitar sounds are the brand of FREE SPIRIT. Pale Sister of Light takes us through the real world, dream and illusion. It is the band's first full length album including 11 tracks. Together these songs form a journey to freedom, whilst performing strongly as singles too. Pale Sister of Light is produced by Carpel Music and it will be released via Edel Records Finland on Feb 4, 2009. Other countries will follow. FREE SPIRIT was the winner of the Garage Countdown contest with their video "Until the Night". It was viewed over 82, 000 times over the internet and is now running on The Voice TV -channel that hosted the competition. FREE SPIRIT is Sami Alho (vocals) Vesa Yli-Mäenpää (guitar) Pasi Koivumäki (drums) Marko Haapamäki (guitar) Sami Hämäläinen (bass) Timo Alho (keyboards). Sami Alho and Pasi Koivumäki are the original founding members, and the current line-up was formed in 2006 when a group of like-minded musicians with a similar musical goal found each other.
