Influences
Rather than list every band we've ever listend to, this short list should not only tell you where we got our inspiration from, but also give you an idea as to what we sound like.
Our biggest influence is without doubt the british rock band Free but we've also taken inspiration from bands including Reef The meters The rolling stones and Led Zepplin.
Sounds Like
A blend of classic rock and blues with a shot of funk. Simple bass and guitar lines that stick, plus vocals with character and passion. You will want to move.
We have been told we sound like: the kings of leon, rainbow, deep purple, reef, free, rooster, doors (their early stuff), the black crowes, bad company, g-love and the special sauce, jet, black rebel motorcycle club, the verve, queens of the stone age, nick cave and the bad seeds, the white stripes, the rolling stones, lynyrd skynyrd, stephen stills, wolfmother, the answer, lady mercedes, electric shades of blue, ac/dc, the alo, the doors, lenny kravitz, the who, captain beefheart, jimmy hendrix, "led zepplin goes to the beach", "the beatles around the time they made come together" and "you guys really take me back to the 60's".
"Free Will & The Bad Influences stand out as a breath of fresh air" Nik Shelton - C.E.N.
"While mimicking the greats like Led Zeppelin, Free and The Rolling Stones isn't usually the safest career choice, Free Will & Co. have pulled it off without losing the effortless swagger and soul of the classic rock greats. "Like Your Lover", while being a little bit simple in songwriting terms, manages to sound exactly like a Rolling Stones/ACDC hybrid without being tacky. Great Stuff.
8/10"

"A great song. Love the hook and the tempo, very unique too. Full approval !!!!!!!!!!" Lucy Piller - www.allrightnow.com
"Great sound. Heading Home has that bite that rock music has been missing since AC/DC." Mike DJ - www.revolutionstation.org
GIVING ROCK AND ROLL THE KICK IN THE ASS IT NEEDS.
Together since the start of 2005 we've established ourselves on the cambridgeshire circuit and have built up a solid following... we're now taking bookings from further afield. We've done this not by pimping ourselves out to every promoter/venue in the city, but by starting with a couple of open mic/new band nights and letting our reputation grow through word of mouth. We play our own tunes, in a style we call Groove Rock.
I need some of that cake you were eating, then I can bounce all day like you do on stage. Twas an excellent set. Really, really enjoyed every minute of it. Please return as soon as possible (with cake), and be ready for your encore this time! (-: xx
