"Even if ideas-wise your average Freeze Puppy composition features everything including the kitchen sink (often with most of the plumbing dementedly ripped out and chucked in for good measure), there's always a big fat hummable snake of melody slithering irresistibly through its core"- John Stevens, Venue Magazine.
''...jawdropping inventiveness....sounded like the core humanity that might be inside anyone if they could only shake off all the caked on crap. That is, this is one of the best acts, from every angle, that I have seen in a long time''- Jenny Darwin, Decode Magazine.

MOST RAD NEWS ----------------------------- The awesome GANG GANG DANCE have re- scheduled the Bristol show. This will be one of two only headlining shows in the UK this year. The Bristol show will be the official warm-up for their show at Brixton Academy (supporting ANIMAL COLLECTIVE !) Wednesday 19th of August 2009 Qu Junktions & Glaive Concerts presents: GANG GANG DANCE + The Color of The Sun ~ Fleece ~ 12 St. Thomas Street Bristol BS1 6JJ 0117 945 0996 - 8PM - 12.00
Tickets 10 pounds in advance On sale at Bristol Ticket Shop, Here Shop and See Tickets. ------i-n-f-o-------------------- This gang gang from Brooklyn, have emerged from a very fertile, indigenous music scene in their neighbourhood but have branched out way WAY further with their hook ups and hooks. It is a ghetto world music that declines fey introspection but invites in disparate saturated sounds and bang bang dance dynamics. Their multi-faceted music style was first brought to our attention following a series of releases on forward-thinking label, The Social Registry; and subsequently, they have found a suitable home on Warp Records.
The bands assemblage of wonky techno, outer rock, faux arabesque and other strange, spiralling, sinuous music forms that transcend categorisation. Utterly unique and iconoclastic.
“The eclectism is exhilarating” Uncut
“Excellent… a psychotropid mind meld” – Plan B
“Gang Gang Dance may now ascend to the bona fide league of geniuses.” 8/10 – NME
Sorry i missed you a second time playing in Cheltenham twas my mums 60th on sunday, how inconsiderate!! Still third time lucky! Let me know when your performing here next. Cheers, Dan.
I've just put up a new track on my page and I thought you might be interested. It is, again, different from other stuff I've done, but I suppose that's part of the fun.
Anyway, no worries if you don't listen, just thought I'd keep you posted.
Also, you might be pleased to know that I played some of "Animation" to a friend of mine and they really enjoyed it. Convert in the making, perhaps? Muhahaha!
We just recently finished our EP and are so proud, all the hard work payed off! If you have a few minutes please give it a listen and tell us what you think :)
"Exciting, Striding and assured. It has an energy reminiscant of everything that was good about the Klaxons debut album.." - BBC Radio Bristol.
"The overall sound echoes that of Bloc Party but with great conviction and sophistication. Go see them live if you can." - iTunes review.
It's also available to buy through our website and itunes if you really do like it.
