Also known as icotec & FreeBrick, this is the jazz/nu-jazz project of Frode Berge, hailing out of the depths of western fjord Norway.
The growing interest in jazz music started when Weather Report's "Heavy Weather" played on the radio. Since then Zawinul, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock and countless other jazz artists were regularly played. The more experimental jazz artists were always the preference, like Miles in "Bitches Brew". Some of the FreeZ stuff is reminescent of this music but usually heavily influenced by electronic (drum'n bass, breakbeats, idm), new age and new styles such as nu-jazz.
Jazz is not the artist's only creative outlet, read more on icotec & FreeBrick
