About FREJA

Freja (a major goddess in norse paganism, the meaning itself which means "A Lady")
is melodically driven, with no room for dissonance. A lady that was said to be so beautiful that all objects were named after her. With a combination of the bright out bursting voice of vocalist Michi Uy, the warm and upbeat grooves rendered by drummer Chris Casi and bassist Mico Lirio, and guitarist Jm Belen and Basti Andaya's ambient but technical overtones. The foundation of Freja was built on college school friends with a passion for music. While going through various name and member changes, instrumentally the band was slowly evolving and maturing into the melodic outflow of energy they presently are. They just happened to collide to create music that they're passionate about.

We express our true selves through our sound and we hope that you can enjoy and experience that same motivation that we exude.
