.. CDBABY LINK for FRENCH DONKEY: French Donkey -->
French Donkey is the lovechild of long time friends and colleagues, Scott Paris and Chris Donley. The name even represents that this project is a housing for two powerhouse songwriters and that both are very silly individuals to boot. "French," is because of Scott's last name being Paris, while "Donkey," is a once inside joke to Chris' last name, Donley. Chris resides in Cleveland, and Scott in Canton. While this project was in it's first stages of discussion the two would email each other often with ideas and show swaps. It was noticed that Donley's name would get caught by spell check and prompt you to change the word to "Donkey." Give it a try sometime.
French Donkey have recently released their self-titled debut album to pandemic positive response. Over two years in the making, this record is a tapestry of beautifully woven harmonies and weird noises. Produced by Paris and recorded at home, the album pushes a few envelopes without losing pop appeal, and is a fine testament to the more inexpensive DIY approach to making a cd. Promotional touring is definately in the works and as of now is pretty constant already. Also Check out the new Sindust album: Back From The Back, as well as Scott's Imaginary Cookies album: Amalgam In The Middle

Hey Scotty! It is great to hear from you. How are things coming along with the baby? We get to find out the gender of ours on Thursday.. only 2 days from now. We are soooooo excited. And Miranda will be home on Sunday for a 11 days. She is very excited to see you hear you play again. About the dinner... Go and enjoy the time with the friends and FAMILY you have met and WE made! We accomplished something very special within those walls and outside them as well. It will not likely happen again anytime soon and YOU were a HUGE part of that!!! We made a business based on family and fun hugely successfull!!! - no small feat- and you, your passion and most certainly your music were as big a part of that success as anyone or anything. Go to the dinner.. salute and toast eachother, not me. It was all of you that made it special. I was blessed to be a part of it. If my name comes up at all please just let everyone know that I miss them greatly and that I was honored to work with them... especailly YOU Scotty P!!!
