Les Landes-Genusson (85130) se situe à 4 km de Tiffauges (Château de Gilles de Rais dit Barbe-Bleue) sur la route de Cholet. Le bourg se situe aussi à 14 km de Clisson (44) où se tient le célèbre Hellfest, à 24 km de Cholet (49), à 14 km de Montaigu et des Herbiers (85). Les Landes-Genusson est un bourg du bocage vendéen avec 4 bars pour 2000 âmes, la salle de la Godelinière est un logis médiéval du 15ème siècle qui n'est pas loin du centre-bourg et très facile à trouver.
