   About Frequency Fall

If the members of Radiohead copulated with a robot Mars Volta cover band while Jeff Buckley played softly in the background, the progeny would most certainly be Frequency Fall. Based out of Vancouver, Canada, Frequency Fall takes infant sounds from their sonic cradles and shamelessly molds them to their every will.

Through internet exposure, live shows and strong word-of-mouth Frequency Fall managed to sell copies of 2003's Resensitize CD on all seven of the world's continents. The September 2004 release show for Volition saw fans line up around the block of Vancouver's Media Club and the first shipment of the disc soldout within hours. 2007 promises new material in the form of Frequency Fall's eagerly awaited third and final opus, Everything Now. Nearly three years in the making, the album is sure to prove worth the wait.

As the band loudly proclaim on the track Relapse off of the new disc: "It's time to break apart the past. At last."

Turn on your brain. Press play.

Happy 5th anniversary of Act IV 2002 :)

Also, I finally got Volition for my birthday back on the 27th. It's about time I did!

Additionally, we would like to know from Travis if there is any other loud songs from Frequency Fall he thinks is better to include a short film than Scant. Basically the scene in Steven's film involves the main character trying to drown out a horrible pop song that is stuck in his head (that has never been written before) by pumping up loud some good music loud.

When is CD coming? Can I bug and bug and bug until you finally do it?
I would like these sounds you've all made to be playable at any given time.

Tell all your friends that your cover and the entire Ghost Children/friends and enemies charity comp will be streaming on the Act IV myspace until May 22nd! And if they like, they should get the CD :)

Hey Steven is wondering if he can get permission to use 'Scant' in his short film he is working on for school. Let me know.

I can't wait to hear the new album :). But could you please change the Ghost Children 2 info to say Toronto instead of Chicago. After all, you guys came to Chicago to play at Act IV, but we are living in Toronto.

I sent you a message, I need some advice. I am trying to add a header to my myspace page, that would be hot linked to the Act IV site. Not sure how to do it, as it's not like I can edit the html file to work with my css code.

take care,
David

Well technically we're in Toronto, we just had the concerts in Chicago for obvious reasons ;). But thanks for the support anyways.

Have you heard from Aaron lately? I really want to be able to have a reason to put Saturnine on the myspace, and then add it to our SP Canada fan page. Speaking of which, if you know any fellow SP fans in B.C., get them to add that page. We need more fans across Canada so we can organize meetups in each city. The most happening groups may get a visit from Billy and co. in their cities.

Hey guys. I thought I'd let you know that you and most of the other GC2 bands are featured in a photo slideshow we put up last night (well I put up an old UWE photo, since you guys don't really have a proper band photo up). We also put up your cover of "Saturnine" to celebrate the official first of day of the GC2 video contest.

We thought we would have an all Ghost Children theme for our myspace for 24 hours or so to celebrate the anniversary of what we all thought would be the last SP show on Dec. 2/2000. Can't wait until they come back.

I will be updating the myspace tonight with some different material.

rock on,
David

Well it's official, Ghost Children/friends as now on sale, rather then just for pre-order :). Get your fans to read our latest blog. I am interested to see what fans come up with for a video of your cover of "Saturnine".

Oh by the way. I uploaded one of your originals from Act IV 2002 up onto the myspace. I know some people might be confused, because you guys were called UnderWeb Effect at the time, and there have been personnel changes since then, but if you like, you can add it to your Myspace. After all, "Beyond You and Yours" did end up on Resensitize:

The new track sounds good, I hope the rest of the CD is even better. By the way, why do you call Everything Now an EP? Isn't it technically in album when its ten tracks? I know it doesn't make much difference.

take care,

I've heard every song on the new album.
Actually. That's a lie. I've heard parts of songs. Over and over and over.
So far they sound good.
But that's because you guys ARE good.
Right?
Right.

Hey guys. Can't wait to hear the new album. Let me know who will be involved in the Ghost Children 2 podcast, and I can send you questions along.

Let people know about the Act IV related Frequency Fall/UWE goodness (ie Ghost Children 2 and the Act IV 2002 DVD ;)).
