Die Wahlberlinerin DJ Freshfluke ist eine der wenigen Frauen Deutschlands, die es geschafft hat, ihren Traum vom Leben mit, von und durch die Musik zu verwirklichen.
Seit 1999 steht sie hinter den Decks, hat zahllose eigene Parties organisiert, auf unzähligen Open Mic Sessions aufgelegt und die namhaftesten Clubs gerockt. Darüber hinaus leitet die Mutter einer 1-jährigen Tochter im ganzen Land DJ Workshops.
Die Pionierin des digitalen DJings (2004!) und langjährige Autorin der TRAKTOR DJ-Software Handbücher teilt dabei ihr Wissen gerne als Native Instruments Forumsmoderatorin mit anderen DJs.
Bei Freshfluke dreht sich alles um die Platten – denn hier spielt die Musik!

It started in 1999: She touched for the first time two turntables and a mixer – and enjoyed it. Shortly after the initial tryouts she bought her own two Technics... Even if she had to miss a warm dinner sometimes.
With a friend she started directly in 1999 the she!planet, a monthly Party with an all-female Lineup in the legendary Liquid Sky Cologne.
In the beginning of 2002 the project Klangkatapult was born; together with three friends she organized monthly parties and legendary Open Airs in different locations until 2004 on a monthly basis in Cologne.
In September 2003 it was time for a change - Freshfluke moved to Berlin.
In Germany’s capital she made contacts and was spinning a lot, sometimes up to three Open Mic Parties per week. She built good connections to many MCs and was spinning live for them quite often on concerts.
That lead to college dropout – and brought her in the arms of Native Instruments. There she started working as a freelancer in the DJ-Line. Today she is one of the main persons to talk with if you have questions regarding the products TRAKTOR or TRAKTOR Scratch and she is regularily driving to fairs or workshops demoing TRAKTOR all over Germany.
A highlight in 2004 was definitely a trip to Sao Paulo (Brasilien), where Freshfluke was giving DJ-Workshops during a project called “20 anos do hiphop“.
Since the beginning of 2005, Freshfluke is giving regularily DJ-Workshops in different schools and youth centers – a work that she loves and that is really important to her. She leads also commercial workshops in music schools, e.g. the yoyosonic music institute in Hamburg.
Freshfluke spins in clubs throughout Europe and is now in the fortunate position to say that she is making a living from and with the work and the experiences behind the decks – because there’s the music!!

Normalerweise basteln sie Beats für Künstler wie Mobb Deep, Ghostface Killah oder 50 Cent, am 10.07.09 tun sie es auch für euch. Die zwei Revolutionäre des "Live- Produzierens "sind zu Gast im Dot Club im Herzen Berlins. DJ Exile und DJ DAY aus Kalifornien/USA rücken an mit 2 MPCs und 2 Plattenspielern, bearbeiten alte Klassiker und entwickeln die Hits von Morgen. Jeder Song fließt, wie bei einem DJ Set ineinander. So etwas gab es zuvor noch nie in der in der Bundes- Rapublik!
Unterstützt werden die beiden von den DJs Ghanaian Stallion und DJ Skare, die für den gewohnt guten Sound auf den "Everything Remains Raw" Veranstaltungen sorgen. Das ganze fungiert als Auftakt für die neue Veranstaltungsreihe YOYO EFFECT, die dann an jedem 2. Freitag im Dot Club stattfinden wird. Der YOYO EFFECT bringt euch wie beim gewichtsbedingten „Jo-Jo-Effekt“ die guten Hip Hop Parties zurück- die Diät ist also dahin und es gibt die volle Packung. Zu jedem Termin werden unterschiedliche Bereiche der urbanen Szene "Hip Hop" beleuchtet, diesmal sind es die Produzenten und beim nächsten Mal?

Hahaha... da stimmt schon seit vielen Jahren was nicht. Ich bin da mittlerweile so gut wie garnicht mehr, seit ich denen einen neuen Chat ins Forum gemacht hab und einer der Redakteure mich deswegen auch noch dumm angewichst hat, seit dem mach ich da nix konstruktives mehr. Die neue Seite, die Chris da aufzieht, ist eh viel schöner, allein das Forum ist schon geiler, weil man es richtig benutzen kann.
