WHO ARE THE FRESH GROUND COMICS ANYWAY?
I know a lot of you have been asking this question. Now, I have the answer.
Fresh Ground Comics are a group of young (and older) up and coming comics from in and around the Birmingham area. The tale begins three years ago, with a young man by the name of Russell Ehrett. Fed up and frustrated with the inadequate amount of stages for an aspiring comic, he decided to start his own. The Safari Cup was their first home. Soon, popularity grew and not only did people start attending the shows, but more comics started coming out of the woodwork. Eventually, another show was added, Michael McCall’s Comedy night at McAnally’s. We currently have about 10 comics in the group (including a female) and are always on the look out for funny people to join the crusade against mediocrity. In the next year, we hope for have several other venues in Birmingham as well as the surrounding areas. So, Huntsville, Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, Opp, we are coming for you. And in addition to all that, we are also sketch writing, and tossing around the idea of improv. There is just no telling what will happen next. So, join us. Come see our show. Come say hello. And bring cookies. We like cookies.

I have been busy on tour with Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band and haven't had a chance to tell you about my new record! It's called "Bad Little Kitty" and it came out back in July. There are a few tracks to sample on my MySpace but you can also check it out on iTunes or on my own website, www. TaylorHollingsworth. com. Thank you for continuing to be a friend and I hope you like the new collection of songs.
Thanks for supporting RIVERKEEPER on MySpace! Black Warrior RIVERKEEPER is a 501(c)3, non-profit organization which has addressed over 15,000 Clean Water Act violations through legal actions since 2002. Here's to cleaner water in Alabama!
Hey I wanted you give you a heads up
my music myspace profile (this one) is going automated for the most part, and now that I have so many people on it it's hard to keep up with my real friends (people I actually know)
I'd love to say in contact with you so if you could please add my personal profile to your friends list. With this profile I more than likely will not get your messages or be able to reply quickly.
my personal profile is www.myspace.com/butterflyawaken
if you already have it then rock on. I just wanted to let you know before you get lost in the crowd.
there is no need to delete this one tho, because I'm using it for updates on shows and stuff.

I would have sent a private message but I can't because I've reached my limit for the day

I'd appreciate it if you guys could send a couple of more bulletins about when your comedy shows are. I only received 8 this week regarding the so-called Michael McCall's Comedy Night - 4 from you, 4 from him. Thanks!
