   About CHEZ STADIUM
Chez Stadium = Randall Payton. (a.k.a. DJ Random Paydirt)
Chez Stadium has also included Pete Lampe, Adam Mack, Chris Paine and other gloryseekers.

CHEZ STADIUM, the band, began as a dare back in 1999, in the form of a ragged guitar/bass/drum trio. In 2002, Chez Stadium lay dormant while frontman/songwriter Randall Payton invited himself into The Boys From Ipanema's roster, adding lap steel to their sans-bass lineup until their quiet but necessary dissolution. Payton immediately resurrected Chez Stadium as a recording project in the underground lair of 44 Long's Brian Berg. Later in 2003, the Freshman Slump CD slipped gently into the public domain. Original bassist Pete Lampe continued in the stage line-up. Adam Mack joined on drums, followed by Chris Paine on guitar. This live unit continued until late 2004.

Payton has since taken the Chez Stadiumâ„¢ moniker as his own, performing under the proverbial radar. Wild rumors persist regarding a follow-up CD.

Freshman Slump is STILL available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/chezstadium, iTunes, and the long-neglected Success Pool website (http://www.successpool.com).

Chez Stadium's Freshman Slump has been an inspiration and is often played on the set while I am working. Thanks for making nice noise and keep on keeping on!
