A platform for our local experienced musicians and the upcoming and aspiring young artists to showcase their original music, driven by the unbridled passion for the fretboard. Presenting that platform is FRETBOARD FRENZY.
FRETBOARD FRENZY is the brainchild of Rosli Mansor, who saw the lack of channels available for musicians or instrumentalists passionate about the fretboard, to showcase their works to the public. Determined to bring about a change in the music scene, Rosli came up with the idea of FRETBOARD FRENZY, a fretboard-driven event that highlights some of the very best in Singapore's music industry.
At the invite of Rosli, several experienced musicians agreed to come onboard FRETBOARD FRENZY. Young up and coming musicians are being invited to perform alongside the veterans, with the view of encouraging and inspiring the younger generation to write original and creative works. Artists on FRETBOARD FRENZY include:-
- Malik
- Clinton Carnegie
- Paul Danial
- Addy Rasidi
- Simon Yong
- Brandon Gan
- Shern Wong
- Simon Lai
- Wendy Phua
FRETBOARD FRENZY is also constantly on the look-out for musicians who wish to present their fretboard-driven music to the masses and likes to extend the invite for them to perform.
Presenting and producing FRETBOARD FRENZY is terraBox management, also the artist management for Rosli Mansor. terraBox updates and maintains FRETBOARD FRENZY's MySpace account.
Very good idea indeed.Sometimes when we come to think of it, we have a lot of local talent that has yet to be discovered. Remember when there were this gig called 'night of the unknown talent' organised by my friend Mr. Hashim Warren. Huge turnout. Paul Danial was there. Addy performed with his band, Broken Frame, with Shawn DeMello on bass. Loads of fun. Let's make this happen again for the young guys....and of course for the season players too.
Hello there. Thanks for the add.You guys sure are guitar gods after all.And I still remember the day I met one of them ,Addy and PapaRock,Ramli Sarip in a studio in Woodlands a few years back ahah.Apparently I'm too afraid even to say Hi.Well thanks once again!
