   Fret Knot Magazine's Blurbs
About me:
Some would say that folk music is a sound forever tied, tethered, tangled to several genres. Knotted, as we like to say. Americana. Celtic. World. Singer/Songwriter. Acoustic. Bluegrass. And let’s not forget about old-timey. Indeed, folk music is the rhythm of heritage. The sound of tradition. Here at Fret Knot, we also believe folk music to be an instrument of change. Environmentally. Socially. Because folk music is also tied, tethered, and tangled to Life. Knotted, rather. And we believe that folk music CAN make a difference. We believe that folk music can change the world. Perhaps that’s why the Fret Knot Team feels so committed to being a dyed-in-the-wool advocate of those musicians, artists, supporters and listeners who feel the same way. Because folk music is more than a sound. It’s a culture. A community. And we are here to serve the folk music community as the source of what’s good about good music. "The Norwegian answer to Herr Lehmann."
