Some people call me "Friday Beers." That’s cool. At least it rhymes, and it certainly gets the general idea across. People ask me, "How do you get all these great bands to come over every week?" Answer: it’s all in the wrist. "Would you consider running for President?" I’m ineligible because as a concert series, I’m not technically human, much less a US citizen, and I’m not yet 35.
Friday Cheers has grown from a citywide happening to a nationally recognized destination for top touring headliners. Since 2006, Cheers has played host to Gomez, Yonder Mountain String Band, The Roots, Sam Bush, Soulive, Ivan Neville’s Dumstaphunk, Cowboy Mouth, Carbon Leaf, Drive-by Truckers, Keller Williams, WMD’S, The Slip, The Lee Boys, Kevn Kinney’s S.T.A.R., Edwin McCain, Army of Me, Wrinkle Neck Mules, Patty Hurst Shifter, and others.
2008’s lineup runs the gamut from good time New Orleans jazz to bluegrass, straight ahead rock to melodic hip hop, tongue-in-cheek reggae covers to anthemic danceable electronica while both bringing back perennial Richmond favorites, and welcoming for the first time to the city some nationally-known and critically acclaimed touring sensations. The lineup is diverse, but the common thread is quality. (That and the beer...and the island...and the large crowds ready to kick off the weekend...)

I know that many artists from North America don't have their music videos uploaded to German video websites. The most popular websites are MyVideo.de and ClipFish.de. That means your European audience does not have the chance to find them.
I understand that most of you don't speak German and are not able to upload videos because of the language barrier. If you would like me to upload your videos to the German video websites, please let me know.
