Band was formed in 1994 by members Mark Friday(vocals and guitar) Clay Infalt(drums, and addition members were added and later changed.
They released the first CD FRIDAY DIES in the summer of 1995. Band performed many small venues and parties thoughout Wisconsin and Iowa. They also toured in many states on the east coast as well as south such as New York, Georgia, Alabama, Tenessee, to name a few.
Band received airplay from local stations in Madison and Milwaukee. Dozens of college shows across the U.S and countries such as Russia, Yugoslavia, and France aired songs from the first CD. Band broke up in 1996.
In 2007 Oringal member Mark Friday, reforms FRIDAY DIES. New members Ryan Lundgren on vocals, Clayton Shedivy on bass, and Anton Filyayev on drums, With Mark Friday playing Lead guitar.
FRIDAY DIES recently re-released the 1995 CD. Band is currently working on new material for the CD to hopefully be released in the summer of 2008. Plans for the future include setting up a website and touring by june of 2008 with material from both CD's as well as a few popular cover songs.
