   About Fridays Cry

The name Fridays Cry is taken from when Jesus cried out It is finished from the cross. Fridays Cry has been together for over a decade, and the calling to touch heaven and see people changed through their music, has never been stronger. Its only just beginning.

With the June 2008 release of their new album Love is a Fire Fridays Cry has never been more poised to do just that. Recording in Edmonton with a visionary new producer, the band was forced to be harder on their music than ever before. The result is something more beautiful and inspired than they ever could have imagined. The songs on the album were born out of great personal trial, enormous victory, and the truly unfailing Love of God.

Fridays Cry has been excited to see how radio stations have grabbed hold of the new album, and now have several of their songs in regular rotation. The band has toured and played with many of the industrys top artists such as Kutless, Thousand Foot Krutch, Tree 63, Starfield, and many more.

When asked if Fridays Cry leads worship, the answer has always been yes. Fridays Cry began in worship, and has remained active within their home church. The band pioneered and still hosts an outdoor Festival, Alive Inside, with their church that has seen bands from around the world, and thousands of people touched. Their concerts have always had a strong sense of God’s presence. Whether the event is a Fridays Cry concert, or the band is leading worship, people are always affected. Many songs from the new album, and past albums are currently being used in corporate worship settings. The songs have been described as modern church anthems: words and music that cut right to the heart, lifting the spirit, and inspiring personal growth and deep commitment.

Fridays Cry has experienced changes over the past few years helping to galvanize the band in their true calling. The vision that drives them to keep touring is still the same that it was 14 years ago: to see new people brought into an eternal relationship with their Creator, and see believers inspired to go to new levels in their faith.

you guys rocked my socks when i saw you in Edmonton back in September. I can't believe you wrote God Who is Able when you were 17!! That kinda spoke to me as i'm 17. I help organize a student led youth group @ my church in Camrose. it showed me that through faith you really can move mountains regardless of your age and reminded me of 1 Timothy 4:12:
"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."

I hope you can come back to edmonton

Wishing your ministry the best in the new year,
Adam
