A REVIEW OF SHOW WITH TORTURED FROM FASTERLOUDER.COM
"They came down hard and heavy for a night of face-melting metal tunes at The Basement on Saturday night. With a line-up consisting of home-grown locals, Ossuary 2 gathered together some of the ACT regions finest to record some tracks for the soon to be released Hard Act To Follow compilation which will showcase Punk, Metal and Hardcore bands from our Nations Capital. Featuring Na Maza, Friend or Enemy and Tortured, Ossuary 2 gave the regular Basement crowd more than their monies worth."
"Friend or Enemy were the highlight of the night letting rip with a brutal set, with a mix of hammering vocals and screaming guitars they definitely had the full attention of the crowd. Hailing from Bungendore these not so newcomers to the scene are currently in the studio and will be releasing a full length album hopefully sometime in the next few months."
Friend or enemy have been impressing the A.C.T and local surrounds for 2
years now with there always energetic, passionate and personable shows
they were lucky enough to come 3rd in the state final of the national campus band competition (a competition dominated by indie and pop bands) and subsequently went on to play Indy Fest,Blast Fest and Liquid fest along with many more shows that helped build up there professional face and musical playing ability.
The boys have released one recording which is long out dated with friend or enemy having had a fair amount of difficulty finding permanent members over the last year, the recording is the one you hear now it was live recorded at our home studio which was never intended to be heard by anyone else as it was never mixed or mastered and clearly terrible...sorry
In the last few months F.O.E have been trying to bring sexy back and was lucky enough to finally have found a permanent line up and are planning to do an east coast tour in the near future after the E.P comes out it will be a 5 track OUT VERY SOON its the guys freshman effort and have recorded it themselves, the E.P is highly anticipated as it will be a true represented of the bands ability on stage as well as off.
