LONDON 1ST JUNE 2009 Several hundred climate change activists took part in a Pedal Power Bike Rush, a mass bicycle ride organised by the 'Climate Rush' around London yesterday evening (Monday 1 June 2009) demanding the UK government take effective action to counter climate change and global warning. The day was chosen to coincide with a London conference being used by the coal industry to promote new coal power stations and was also the day that MPs returned to Parliament..... ....At the start of the ride, there were a number of cycle rickshaws carrying people as well, as well a live band from Hare Krishna on two cycle trailers. Green Bodhgaya is a multidimensional project uniting ecology and spirituality It aims at reforesting Bodhgaya, the heart center of the Buddhadharma tradition where the Buddha awakened 2500 years ago.
Objectives Planting over 10 years, 5 million trees to restore the same green paradise as it was at Buddha’s time.

By joining forces together Practically, Green Bodhgaya proposes to the five hundred million Buddhists, to all Buddha’s followers, and ecological supporters worldwide to plant ‘Wishes Trees’ with positive intentions for the life of our Planet and all its inhabitants: A tree with life insurance and free life wishes for 5 euros By joining similar network Green Bodhgaya would like to spread and to connect with similar trees planting initiatives. Green Bodhgaya Project will function basecally on a website centralizing global information and fundraising:
