About me:
Cal State Fullerton's Pilipino American Student Association will be hosting its 24th annual Friendship Games on Saturday, October 24th, 2009.
Friendship Games has been created for the community and the general public to provide a cultural rally to celebrate Pilipino art, dance, and culture. Friendship Games allows colleges and universities nationwide to compete in fun, friendly, and competitive picnic games in hopes of taking home 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies. One of over 50 schools in attendance may also win a trophy measuring 8 feet tall. This award recognizes the school that best exemplifies good sportsmanship as well as Spirit, Pride, Unity, and Friendship, a term we coined as “SPUF.”
Friendship Games has come to represent more than just Pilipino American college students. It has given a significant identity to individuals of any ethnicity. This is a time when old friends reunite and where new friendships form, ultimately coming together to celebrate the Pilipino heritage.
We, the students of Cal State Fullerton, as well as the members of PASA, would like to formally invite you to Friendship Games 2009.
