"Amigos Famosos del Cannabis" es una idea de Self-Hemployed Amsterdam. La página web fue inspirada por un capítulo del libro "Cannabis" escrito por el alemán Mathias Broecker (publicado en 2002).

Es el archivo más amplio con amigos del cannabis (Cáñamo industrial y Marijuana) tanto del pasado como de hoy en día.

El archivo fué publicado por primera vez en Funky Farmers (funkyfarmers.com) a finales del 2002. Al verano siguiente fué ampliado con secciones de noticias y entretenimiento y puesto online bajo su propio nombre friendsofcannabis.com En el invierno de 2005 fué la primera página web en ser nominada para la 18 High Times Cannabis Cup en Amsterdam (NL) en la sección de productos.

Friends Of Cannabis.com es uno de los organizadores de la fiesta anual Grass-A-Matazz Cannabis Cup Party, que será organizada por quinta vez en 2009 en Amsterdam.

'Famous Friends Of Cannabis' is an idea of Self-Hemployed Amsterdam.
The website was inspired by a chapter from the book 'Cannabis' by German writer Mathias Broecker (published in 2002). It is the largest archive with notable historical and contemporary friends of cannabis (Industrial Hemp AND Marijuana).

The archive was first published on Funky Famers (funkyfarmers.com) late 2002. The following summer, extended with news and entertainment sections, friendsofcannabis.com was brought online under its own name.

In the winter of 2005 the website was nominated (as first-ever) for a 'Product Cup' at the 18th High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam (NL).

Friends Of Cannabis.com is co-host of the annual Grass-A-Matazz Cannabis Cup Party, which, in 2009, will be held for the fifth time in Amsterdam.

In Februari 2009 the new and upgraded Friends of Cannabis website was launched, bringing even more news, more facts, more statements, more gossip, more pics & videos and many more new Famous Friends of Cannabis!
