I am heartbroken to hear of the misfortunes of the camp! I was a camper, my mom and her 3 sisters were campers, my GRANDFATHER was a camper...I was greatly looking forward to sending my daughter soon.

I know that my school does a silent auction online as a fundraiser for a habitat for humanity trip. Last year we raised about $2,000. It just required getting donations and having a place to house them until they were sold.

I'm gonna get talking to my church and various other churches where I have connections, about possibilities for fundrasiers etc.

I may start working for a youth group too, so maybe I could organise a trip to mt.misery next summer for like a week or so, paying mt.misery of course and also so word will spread as to why it shouldn't close

I don't know...lately I feel like I'm clutching at straws, any ideas for fundraisers??

no body has added a comment, let me be the first. save mt. misery!!! It's worth, give them a reason to share the gospel to kids in need. Give me a place to send my kids when they are older.
