Hi Folks, THE 24th VIBE is nearly upon us and Friends of Philo are already gearing up for our 3rd Tribute to Philo for May Bankholiday 2010. We shall have three of Irelands greatest Tribute bands preforming live: A Taste of Rory a Rory Gallagher Tribute band from Dublin, Horslypse a Horslips Tribute band from Omagh, Co. Tyrone and Skid Lizzy a Thin Lizzy Tribute band from Dublin and also acoustic music from COLLY from Gorey, Co. Wexford. A night to remember in aid of The Roisin Dubh Trust C/o Philomena Lynott our special guest that evening, Wicklow Hospice Foundation C/o Marie Kindlon and Arklow Drugs Awareness C/o Margaret Kelly. In the Arklow Bay Hotel Sun May 2nd doors open at 8.30pm, starts 9.00pm Sharp! €20 admission plus late bar and door prize for one lucky winner. Tickets on sale end of April 2010 at usual outlets. Also some great news Friends of Philo shall have an Official website soon, watch this space, site under construction.
