About Frisco
I go by the name Frisco or Big Fris and I represent Boy Better Know, TMT and the grime scene. I also make music outside of grime but that is my main genre. I've been doing this since school but
started to take it serious in 2003 which was when I realised a lot of people liked and appreciated my music.
In 2004 I released my first mixtape (Before everyone started putting out mixtapes!), which was titled Murda Mixtape vol 1 which was shortly followed by Vol 2. I've worked with most of the big name
producers and mc's in the scene and performed at a number of big events including Sidewinder, Eskimo Dance, Garage Nation, La Cosa Nostra just to name a few. I have also performed overseas in
Ayia Napa, Amsterdam, Tenerife and Germany.
In 2006 I released my third mixtape, which was titled Back 2 Da Lab Vol. 1, which featured the rest of the BBK family, closely followed by Vol. 2. Everything I have achieved thus far has been done
independently and until the majors stop gazin, I'll be releasing mixtapes, albums, and t-shirts all independently, so myspacers and myspacettes get with the programme and holla at ur boyyyy!!!
