Frisky Bison Presents are a four-piece band exploring commercial and progressive rock genres. The inception of the band came as an expansion of an earlier project, a two-piece outfit started in Essex by the band’s two guitarists during the 2004 to 06 period. In November 06 the full band was formed and following multiple brief sessions with a string of different bassists, the final member of the band joined in 08. The current line up is as follows; Marcus W Lochner – Vocals/Guitar George Rockett – Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals Daniel Farley – Drums/Backing Vocals Mark Manning – Bass Guitar Bison have been playing the live music scene in Surrey, Essex and parts of London for over two years now. They have performed at a variety of venues ranging from local venues to there 07 appearance at Guilfest. Bison have, and are in the process of arranging, a range of dates across the summer for festivals. This coincides with the release later this year of their two-part album, following the band’s recent withdrawal into the studio over the last few months. Bison have so far recorded all their own material at their home studio and live room. They are currently running a recording service in Guildford for local bands. However, a percentage of the tracks released later this year will have been recorded during the band’s studio time booked in at Stakeout Studios and Ford lane Studios over the Easter period. !!!
